You cannot complete your registration process without specifying how much money you want to raise for your enterprise. If you are not sure of the amount and need help with assessing the amount you wish to raise, please contact the BayTree team. If you are not yet ready to raise funds, we suggest you register with us when you are ready.
What are the charges for registering the enterprise?
There is an upfront registration fee payable by enterprises which will be adjusted against the success fee.
Who can register the enterprise?
The founder/s, a senior member of your team or anyone authorised by your company to register can complete the registration process on BayTree.
Can I register if my enterprise is less than one year of operation?
Yes, you can.
Can I register if my enterprise is not generating any revenue?

We have made it very easy for you to build your company’s profile by providing a structure and online guidance through the profile building process. However, if you still need help, the team at BayTree will be happy to assist you.
How do I decide the ‘stage’ of my enterprise?
The registration process provides you with four possible options on the stage your enterprise may be at. If you think your enterprise does not fit any of these categories, please contact the team at BayTree.
When does my profile become public? Can I choose when my profile becomes public?
Your profile only becomes public after you have completed building your profile and the BayTree team has checked it for completeness. If you do not wish your profile to be made public please get in touch with the team at BayTree.
Who can see my profile? Can I choose who sees my profile?
Once your profile has been completed and the team at BayTree have approved it, all users on the platform can view your profile. However, you can choose to keep your fundraising details in Stealth Mode.
How do I ensure that my information remains confidential?
Once your profile has been approved, all the information you choose to put on your profile page can be viewed by all users. However, you can choose to keep your financial information hidden by using the Stealth Mode.
How do I modify the Fundraise target?
If you need to change the amount of funds you wish to raise via BayTree and/ or the timeline, please contact Team BayTree.
When do I become eligible to be showcased to investors?
As soon as you have completed your profile and Team BayTree has approved it, your profile is public and can be viewed by all investors.
Can I raise funds from a single investor?
Yes, if a single investor is interested in investing the entire amount you wish to raise.
Can I raise funds from a foreign investor?
Yes. BayTree welcomes foreign investors on its platform.
Can I raise funds from an institutional investor?
Yes. BayTree welcomes institutional investors on its platform.
Will BayTree use any filters in show casing my enterprise?
BayTree will use its own systems for assessing the suitability of an enterprise before approving its registration. Once an enterprise is registered, the team at BayTree will assist you in building your profile on the platform as necessary and guide you through the process.
How do I reach out to investors featured on the platform?
Once your profile has been approved by the BayTree team, you can reach out to any of our registered investors via the email system on the platform.
How much money can I raise on the baytree platform?
You can raise as much money as your business needs and can be justified via you business and financial models. However, please be aware that BayTree is currently only supporting fund raising via equity capital and substantially for early stage enterprises.
What kind of instruments can I use to raise on the baytree platform?
BayTree is currently set up for equity linked fund raising only. However, it is likely we will add other instruments in the near future.
